after i built my pc when i turn it on it won’t show any display help? everything is on the lights and all just display

It's more fun to code and build than it is to play boring old not very challenging or difficuly (GAMES?) True joy come from the mental challenge!! Also after spending a tonn of cash anti static glove cost almost nothing/Yse put those anti static gloves on after you had earthed yoursel to a strucral ground/also know as the earth green and yellow wire atached to copper piping/before you open any boxes.

It's like Christmas morning every day but ist's better because unlike regular toys these components evole and the learning evolves and keeps your mind growing and healthy to the point the build is more enjoyable and satisfying than the coders who write the games. Which is better because we greedy gamers should never have the ability to not just design the built but also code/writing the games custom TOO! Never conect your PC build to the internet before checking the internet software you installed in ligit and has no hidden "Avast.com/AvConcent" corrupted files that I found in the AVG Ultimte Internet Securty. Yer I got a full refund and will never use that again because hackers can and do find you trust and have used the same internet secrity provider since the begining of time thinking you will never ask questions /Dark web hackers use this to exploit you and you high powered gaming rig to commit the kind of crime you don't want to help them commit. Due dilligece/You would not use the same car insurer every year/Why do thid with a higher risk Internet security breach? Full on high jacked my internet connection to connit unspeeckable crimes which I was not aware of untill they locked my out and continued to use my internet conncetion leaing me helpless to stop them. I physically pulled the hard drive then power drilled holes in it. Set up a new build from scratch still using Windows 7 but tweeked my own ersion of Internet security. Stay safe from Dark Web Black Hat Hackers/who have likeley be kept prisoner by much worse easton Eurpeans/Due dilligene/Take off the blind fold!!!Once you have read this/No bllocks Not drunk or on drugs/I am very serious/Tell every one you know in the World!!!

All the cables that came in my case has nothing written on them and I was totally lost, still there are few more cables unconnected and I don't even know what for! I read all the manuals that came with the case, motherboard, psu etc.. non of them explained anything! :/

why do we have to manually update these drivers, cant we update them automatically from the device manager tab, i am wondering

Windows doesn't always install the latest drivers and I have found that it usually takes a lot longer than necessary for it to find drivers that way instead of downloading them from the manufacturer.

Better than most 1 hour long build tutorials bantering about useless things, simple and straight forward, thanks.

I practically do consider myself a veteran pc builder, I was telling my friend how to build his pc over voice chat. First we had it outside the case to test the parts, the only reason it didnt boot at first is because of a loose cpu/24pin or psu power cable. Then it booted normally. After we installed it into the case, I told him to try and boot and we got no post. I told him to push in the 24 pin and cpu 8 pin, and it posted. Pog

That's the entire point of hard drives and SSDs: storage. I strongly recommend installing Windows on the SSD, but you don't absolutely have to.

If you don’t have a ssd do you need to plug in your sata port cable, I’m only using a m.2 drive so do i need to plug in a sata port?

If you're not going to be using a standard 2.5" SSD, there's no need to plug in a SATA cable. To clarify: You DO have an SSD. M.2 is the form factor that some SSDs use.

@North Remembers The service manual for that laptop should tell you what drives it supports. You may also check the technical specifications.

@North Remembers You can't really go wrong with known-brands like Samsung, Adata, WD, etc. As to what specific SSD technology, that depends on your laptop and what it supports. NVMe will be faster than SATA, but some older laptops may not support M.2, let alone NVMe SSDs. You'll have to find that information.

@North Remembers It depends on how much storage you need. I personally would go for a 1TB SSD.

For the LAN drivers there's only "Intel I225 LAN Driver" on the support page even though I'm using AMD. Is it okay if I install the driver? (Using ASUS ROG STRIX B550-A mbo)

That's perfectly fine. In this instance, your motherboard uses a network adapter from Intel. It has no effect if you use an AMD CPU.
